There are 54 days until Morgan starts his tour, and I know my weekends will be full, traveling to as many of his shows as I can make. The countdown is starting to feel real now.
Today was a good day, the kind that feels simple but full in all the right ways. I went to church bright and early this morning, which always sets the tone for the day. Afterward, I enjoyed brunch and finished up some last-minute shopping for Vegas. It feels good to have everything coming together before the trip.
I also just dropped off my Valentine so he could head back home. We only had a few hours together, but they were really good hours, the kind you hold onto and smile about later.
Tomorrow I fly to Vegas for the week for some speaking events, and I’m really looking forward to that. After Vegas, it’s back to Texas for a few weeks, and then I’ll be back on a plane again, heading to a few other states for work. Life feels busy, but in a good, purposeful way.
God has been so good, blessing me every day in more ways than I can count, and I’m feeling especially grateful tonight for the journey, the opportunities, and the people along the way.

Its cool hearing you so excited about the tour coming up. I’ll bet it’ll be a lot of fun and I hope a very memorable time for you and your friend or friends you bring along. This is definitely the season for cutting loose and enjoying yourself, you deserve it.
Glad you had relaxing time and a very focusing one at church to get you day moving in the right direction. It’s great to have an outside force like church or working out to settle you mind and refocus it. I had no doubt you’d get everything squared away for you trip to Vegas and glad you had a nice enjoyable breakfast.
