Day 158
Today was one of those days that just felt good for the soul. My friend Katrina and I headed up north for a hike and a spa day. We took our time on the drive, catching up on life, talking through everything, and just enjoying the moment. Those kinds of conversations always hit different when you’re not rushed. When we got to the spa hotel, we dropped our bags and had them held so we could head straight out for a hike. We ended up doing about 6 miles, and it was honestly amazi

Day 157
Today started early with a trip to the office for a full day of getting caught up. There’s always something satisfying about sitting down, reviewing everything that’s been going on, and really locking in on progress. It felt good to be back in that flow and making sure everything is moving exactly how it should. After the office, I made a quick stop at the store for my mom before heading back home. Just one of those simple things that feels good to do. Before dinner, I switch

Day 156 blog
Last night at the Easter Vigil, I was baptized. Many people don’t know this, but I started RCIA back in the fall. It’s been a quiet journey for me, something very personal. When I was a baby, I was baptized at this same church, but between the ages of 17 and 24, I went through a period where I lost all belief in God. I questioned everything. I struggled with why I had gone through certain things in my life, and over time, I just drifted completely away. Before starting this j

Day 155 blog
I’m writing this a little earlier today because I’ll be heading to church soon, and tonight is a big night for me. The Easter Vigil starts at 9pm, and by the time everything is done, it will be a late one. Tonight, I’m getting baptized as an adult at the church I was baptized as a baby. It’s something I’ve been working toward for the past four months, taking the time to learn, grow, and really understand what this means in my life. Working side by side with my Priests. Choosi

Day 154 blog
Today’s blog Today was a pretty simple day overall. I flew back early this morning from a quick 24 hour trip, got home, and took a much needed nap. After that I got up, hit the gym, and had a few conference calls to take care of. Now I’m just in full lazy Friday mode. Watching movies, relaxing, and letting my mind slow down a bit. At the same time, I’ve been thinking through and mapping out a new program I might put together. It’s funny how even on slower days, ideas still fi

Day 153 blog
Today got me thinking about something simple but powerful. Showing up for the people you care about, especially in the small, spontaneous ways. Not everything has to be planned. Not everything has to be a big gesture. Sometimes it’s the last minute decision to pull up, to check in, to support, to be there. Those moments hit different because they’re genuine. There’s no pressure, no obligation, just intention. I’ve realized how easy it actually is to support the people in your

Day 152 blog
Today started off heavy. I was hit with a major issue that caused one of my businesses to crash, and I spent hours on the phone with different IT people trying to get things back up and running. Even after all that time, we’re still only partially back in service. Moments like that are stressful in a different way. It’s not just the technical issue, it’s the pressure that comes with knowing people rely on what you’ve built and wanting everything fixed immediately. In the midd
