Day 360
Today was a good day! It started with a golf tournament fundraiser supporting an amazing foundation that helps women, children, and men who have survived domestic violence. If you know my story, then you understand why being involved with a cause like this means so much to me.
Some things in life hit a little closer to home because of what we have experienced ourselves. Being able to show up, support an organization doing meaningful work, and be part of something that can make a difference is something I truly appreciate.
After the golf tournament, the evening continued with a dinner and event where I had the opportunity to give a little speech. I also got to mingle with other business professionals, meet wonderful new people, and make connections that I hope will continue beyond today.
I love opportunities like this because they bring together two things I value: building relationships with people and supporting causes that matter. Making business connections is great, but being surrounded by people who are also passionate about making a difference makes the experience even more meaningful.
Domestic violence affects far too many people, and the work these foundations do matters. Sometimes, having the right resources, support, and people in your corner can make a difference in someone’s life.
I’m grateful I got to spend today supporting such an important cause, meet new people, and use my voice for something that matters. Days like this remind me that we can take our own experiences and turn them into opportunities to help others.
A good day, good people, new connections, and a cause worth showing up for. What more could you ask for?
Signed, Paulina.
