Today started with prayer and breakfast in my room, which felt like the perfect way to center myself before heading into my last speaking event of this trip. I got dressed, gathered my things, and made my way over feeling ready and grateful.
This event was a little smaller than some of the others this week, but it was with a Fortune 50 company, which made it pretty exciting. There’s something special about more intimate rooms because you can really connect. What made today even bigger for me was being able to announce a new partnership with the company. Moments like that remind me how far I’ve come. I will also be making a donation tomorrow to their employee help fund, which feels just as important as the partnership itself. Being able to align business with impact is always a win in my book.
Vegas has been such a fun and full experience, but I am definitely ready to head back to Texas for a few weeks before I am back on the road again. Colorado is up next for a few days, and I am looking forward to that change of scenery.
Overall, life feels really good right now. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for the opportunities in front of me. I know my dad is proud. My mom and stepdad are beyond proud, and so are my closest friends. The encouragement, excitement, and love I get from my circle has been so uplifting. Having people who genuinely celebrate you makes all the difference.
Just feeling thankful tonight.

It’s really wonderful that you always have a routine of some fashion that gets you focused for the day, whether it’s a workout, going to church, or breakfast in bed, you always have something the gets you mind set for the day.
Your ability to adjust your mind set for whatever group of people you meeting is quite a talent and one I’m sure took some time to hone but a talent none the less. These as you said were very important people and you needed to adjust yourself accordingly. Having that intimacy through absolutely changes the feel of the room and I think makes what you’re tying to communicate more impactful and effective. You are a humble lady…
