Day 123 blog

Today was a long one. Up at 4am and just now finally slowing down at 11pm.

Being a business owner is such a blessing, but it is also exhausting in ways people do not always see. There is no clocking out. No one telling you to go home. No one else carrying the weight of the decisions. It is you. The ideas. The risks. The responsibility. The leadership. The problem solving. The constant thinking.

From early morning emails to late night calls, from putting out small fires to making big decisions, today was full. Productive, but full.

Sometimes people see the highlights. The wins. The growth. The travel. The flexibility. What they do not see are the 4am mornings. The mental load. The moments where you are tired but still have to show up sharp. The discipline it takes to keep building even when you would rather rest.

But here is the thing. I would not trade it.

There is something powerful about building something that is yours. About knowing the long days are connected to a bigger vision. About understanding that the pressure is tied to purpose.

Days like today remind me that success is not just about big moments. It is about consistency. It is about staying committed when no one is clapping. It is about finishing strong even when you are running on fumes.

It has been a long day. I am tired. But I am grateful.

Because every long day is proof that I am building something worth showing up for.

I can certainly remember days when I had to get up that early and even earlier, and it certainly was not fun.  My responsibilities that required me being up at that kind of time was very different from yours but there still were similarities.  I knew what was required of me and I made the necessary adjustments to make sure that the job got…
