Day 127 blog

Today was one of those slow and steady kind of days. The kind where nothing is rushed and you just move through the day one thing at a time.

I started the morning at the gym, which always helps clear my mind and set the tone for the day. After that I ran to the store and handled a few other things that needed to get done. Nothing too crazy, just normal life stuff.

Later I spent some time relaxing at home, which honestly felt really nice. I think we all forget sometimes how important a little quiet time is. Just being still for a bit before the next thing.

Then in the evening I headed back to the Houston Rodeo again, this time to see Dwight Yoakam perform. It was such a fun experience and a great way to end the day. Being out, listening to music, and just enjoying the atmosphere made the night really special.

Days like today remind me how grateful I truly am. Not just for the big moments, but for the simple ones too. The ability to move my body, go places, spend time doing things I enjoy, and experience life.

I truly feel blessed and grateful for every second of my life and for my health. At the end of the day, that is what really matters.

Signed, Paulina.

We all need day to just rest, check out of our daily grind and give our brains and body a chance to take a breather.  Those of us that push every day to be a better version of ourselves can’t go day after day and never stop.  We are biological machines and need a break to get our minds and bodies fresh so we can get back to it.  You make more progress by giving it your all and then resting and then go back at it that much harder than before rather than going non-stop all the time with no rest.

Getting a nice simple workout in is a nice way to reset your body without taxing it…
