Day 138 blog

Started the day early at the hotel gym, which always feels like the best way to reset before a travel day. After that, we checked out and headed to the airport. I made sure to say goodbye to my team and remind them how amazing they are. I’m really grateful for the people I have around me.
Of course, the airport had its own surprises. The power went out while we were there, which was definitely an experience. Luckily, we got there early and avoided getting stuck in the train chaos, so I’ll take that as a win.
While waiting for our delayed flight, I squeezed in a quick interview call. It’s funny how business doesn’t really stop, no matter where you are. You just learn to move with it.
One of the highlights was getting on the Star Wars plane for our flight to New York. That was actually pretty cool and made the travel day a little more fun.
Now we’re sitting here having drinks, grabbing some food, and getting a little work done while we wait for our next flight to Italy. I’m really looking forward to this part. Skiing, relaxing, and just enjoying the moment.
This year, I’m fully committing to taking my time back. I didn’t build my companies to run the way they do just to stay constantly working. I built them so I could live, travel, and actually enjoy life while everything continues to operate.
Our next flight is about ten hours, so it’s time to settle in and get ready for the next adventure.
Signed, Paulina.

I just love so much how you constantly build you people up and thanking them for their work. It is such an underrated and overlooked practice in business. Showing even a little appreciation to those that work for you makes a big difference in someone’s attitude and greatly increases that person’s productivity. Beyond that though, it’s just nice to be nice to others.
It was just the coolest thing ever to see that picture of a Star Wars plane. What an experience, there are all kinds of little jokes I could make but that just really wild to see one.
I’m glad you’ve really decided to just take back a big part of your life and spend more…
