Today was a very chill day to start. I woke up and had a really yummy breakfast with my parents, grandparents, and the pups. It was one of those slow, simple mornings that just feels really special, getting to sit together, laugh, and enjoy time as a family.
After that, my mom and grandma and I went to the store, which turned into a little girls trip running errands. Those are always some of my favorite moments, just being out together, talking, laughing, and making even the simplest things fun.
Later in the day, I went to my friend’s celebration for her promotion. She had a luau-themed party, which made it even more fun. Good music, good vibes, and just celebrating someone’s hard work paying off. It was really nice being surrounded by friends and getting to be part of such a happy moment for her.
In between everything, I found myself just feeling really grateful. Days like this remind me how important it is to slow down and enjoy the people around me, especially when I don’t always get this much time with family.
Overall, it was such a blessed day. My heart feels full, and I’m thankful for all the little moments that made today special.

It put a smile on my face reading about your whole day, from you breakfast with you parents and grandparents and you puppies, just sounded really wonderful and a special memory to remember for a long time.
How fun it must have been to go out shopping with you mom and grandma, just sounds really wonderful in the best of ways. Getting to just do stuff with them must have been mentally freeing in a way; not thinking about work or anything, just the three of you having a good time.
