Day 149

  • 1 min read

Today started in a really meaningful way, attending mass with my parents and grandparents. There’s something special about being together like that, especially on Palm Sunday, taking a moment to slow down and reflect.

The message today centered around John 12:12-13, the moment Jesus entered Jerusalem and was welcomed by people waving palm branches and praising Him. It was all about recognition, honoring Him, and not being afraid to openly show faith and gratitude.

What stood out to me was how powerful it is to be open in your belief, to not hold back when it comes to what you stand for, and to give thanks in the moments that matter. It was a reminder to carry that same kind of faith and energy into everyday life.

After mass, we spent the rest of the day the best way possible, with a get together dinner surrounded by family and neighbors. Good food, great conversations, and just enjoying being present with the people who matter most.

Days like today remind me that life is about faith, family, and connection. Taking time to appreciate those moments and the people around you is what really makes it all meaningful.

Signed, Paulina.

You have talked so much about how important your faith is to you and I can only imagine how much more special it was to attend mass with your family.  What a special moment indeed.

In regards to the sermon, that hits on something really important that our country has been lacking and is starting to come back and that’s conviction and resolve.  Too frequently we see people surrender their own minds and free will to the group out of pure fear of social retribution.  This trend has become very infectious and it’s not even from a lack of faith, it’s just from a lack character.  Is it scary to face the world and speak with just your voice…
