Today’s blog
Today was a pretty simple day overall. I flew back early this morning from a quick 24 hour trip, got home, and took a much needed nap. After that I got up, hit the gym, and had a few conference calls to take care of.
Now I’m just in full lazy Friday mode. Watching movies, relaxing, and letting my mind slow down a bit. At the same time, I’ve been thinking through and mapping out a new program I might put together. It’s funny how even on slower days, ideas still find their way in.
But today being Good Friday, it also brings a different kind of reflection.
It’s a day that reminds me to slow down not just physically, but mentally and spiritually. A day to think about sacrifice, faith, and what it really means to trust God even in the hardest moments. It’s easy to get caught up in the day to day, the work, the plans, the constant movement. But today is a reminder of something deeper.
There is something powerful about taking a step back and remembering that not everything is in our control, and that there is purpose even in the pain, even in the waiting, even in the moments that don’t make sense.
So while today has been calm and simple on the outside, it’s also been a day of reflection. A reminder to stay grounded, stay grateful, and keep my faith at the center of everything.
A good, quiet kind of day.
Signed, Paulina.

There are lots of things that are beyond our control as you said and it’s important to realize we need to trust god with those things and focus on what we can control. Slow yourself down and take a minute to appreciate what you have and open you mind. Sometimes it’s…
