Day 26 Blog

First things first, today is the last day of my 10 Days of Giving. This one is big. I am giving away one thousand dollars in cash plus a gift of your choice. If you want to enter, check out my 10 Days of Giving section for all the details.

Today was a truly blessed day. I was up at 3am cooking with my family and friends and together we made enough food for two hundred people. Around noon we headed to the location we rented to set everything up. Huge shoutout to the amazing company that decorated the space and arranged all the tables. It turned out beautiful and really set the tone for what the day was meant to be.

A few people asked how we find the people we feed. It is simple. We start by teaming up with local shelters and go from there. We never turn anyone away. Both events, here in Texas and the one in California, went amazing. Each state fed around two hundred people. I love being able to walk around, talk with everyone, hear their stories, and truly listen. Every person has a life journey that deserves to be acknowledged and respected.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and it will be my first Thanksgiving in this house. We will be up early again to prepare our meal. All the guys already have my sports lounge ready for football, so that will be their zone for the day. I feel incredibly blessed for all the people in my life. I am thankful for every single person who has come into my world through social media. I am thankful for my mom, my stepdad, and my dad in heaven for raising me to be the woman I am today. I am thankful for my amazing friends who support me and also put up with my wild ideas. I am thankful for everything I have been through because every hardship made me stronger.

I am also thankful for every person who doubted me, talked badly about me, hurt me, disrespected me, or told me I could not do something. You all pushed me to prove you wrong and to rise higher than you expected.

I hope you all have an amazing and blessed Thanksgiving. If you are working, I hope your day is light and stress free. If you are traveling, please be safe. Most importantly, be smart. Do not drive under the influence of anything. It is never worth it.

Enjoy the people you are with. Cherish every moment. You never know when it will be the last one. And please, try to make at least one person smile today.

Signed, Paulina.

I'm so happy that the Thanksgiving event went so well. I might sound like a broken record here but you are quite an amazing lady Paulina. I can just tell by how you describe the event how much it means to you and how much joy and a satisfaction you get out of it. God bless you for what you do and I know it means more to those people then they could ever describe. I can only imagine the kinds of stories they had to tell you and how heart breaking some of them must of been and made being able to help them that much more meaningful and rewarding. We are living in very tough times f…
