Today started very early. Steven (my VP) and I were up at 4 a.m. to begin our drive to Nashville. He was convinced driving made more sense than flying. I agreed on one condition, he had to drive. And honestly, it turned out to be a great decision. The drive was smooth, the conversations were good, and the time passed faster than I expected.
We arrived about an hour ago, checked into our hotel rooms, and headed straight to dinner. It feels good to finally be here and settled, especially knowing how full the rest of the week and weekend will be. Between an exciting business partnership we are working on and our big party on Saturday, there is a lot to look forward to.
This trip has also brought a lot of reflection. As the year comes to a close, I am very aware of how important it is to protect my peace. I am clearing my plate of people who bring negativity into my life. I am no longer engaging in explaining myself or trying to clear my name. People who are busy building, growing, and living with purpose do not have time to tear others down. The noise says more about them than it ever will about me.
I am stepping into this next season lighter, focused, and fully aligned. Nashville is just the beginning.
Signed, Paulina.

I’m glad you ended up having a wonderful drive to Nashville. I’d love to hear more about it (with all consideration to private matters of course) and what you got to experience on that drive; what you saw, the music you listened to etc...
Hope the hotel accommodations are acceptable and hope you get a full and rested night’s sleep to charge you both up for the week ahead. Hope there will be some time to enjoy yourselves and listen to some great music and have great food in addition to successfully handling your business there.
Getting to contribute to this blog has been really wonderful for me and I thank you very much for providing the opportunity…
