Today started with another workout, which has honestly become my anchor lately. No matter how busy things get, moving my body helps keep my mind steady. After that, we did the final walk through for our party to make sure everything is exactly how it should be. Seeing it all come together after months of planning was exciting and reassuring.
We also met with our music act to make sure he is fully prepared and ready to go. Then we spent time making sure all of my employees and their families made it here safely. That part mattered to me the most. Knowing everyone is taken care of and able to relax and enjoy what we have planned feels really good.
With only twelve days left until the new year, I have been doing a lot of reflecting. One thing that keeps coming up for me is the importance of supporting your friends, their businesses, and the things they are passionate about. It costs nothing to like, comment, or share something for someone you care about. Support does not always have to be financial to be meaningful.
At the same time, support should never come at the expense of your rent, your bills, or your family’s well being. And it should never compromise your morals. It is important to ask questions, to understand what you are aligning yourself with. If someone cannot answer basic questions or gets defensive or strange when you ask, it is worth pausing and asking yourself why. Before you attach your name to anything or anyone, make sure your values truly align with their morals and their actions.
I am also learning to ignore the noise. Gossip and negativity say far more about the person spreading it than the person receiving it. I am choosing to focus on growth, alignment, and peace as this year comes to a close.
Today felt productive, intentional, and grounding. A good way to step closer to the new year. Super excited about tomorrow’s party so might have a mid day blog tomorrow.
Signed, Paulina.

I sincerely hope that everything goes better than expected with your Christmas party. You and everyone else involved have put so much work into it and hope everyone has the most incredible time that they don’t want to leave. Hope everyone arrived safely and without much hassle. I wish this night fills you with so much joy and happiness Paulina, you certainly deserve a day that is as much for you as it is for you employees. You have been through more than your fair share this year and although you had a nice trip to Egypt and had a great birthday, I’m sure that this event is going to hit differently for you in a way that you really…
