Day 51 blog

Today is day 51, and I am honestly so proud of myself for making it this far. That alone feels worth celebrating.

Our holiday party yesterday was beyond amazing. The food was great, the music was good, the decorations were beautiful, and everyone truly had the time of their lives. I had quite a few surprises planned for my employees and their families, and yes, their families and whoever they brought were included in the gifts too. Watching everyone relax, laugh, and enjoy themselves made every bit of planning worth it.

I woke up this morning feeling incredibly grateful, especially after receiving so many messages from my employees expressing their appreciation. That kind of gratitude hits differently and reminds me why I do what I do.

At noon today, we all met up again for a special project made possible by several amazing companies I work with who donated to help. We teamed up with a local school and partnered directly with parents of students to do Christmas gift and food shopping so they would not have to worry this holiday season. Moments like that are why this time of year means so much to me. Growing up, my parents always took me along when they helped different organizations, and even back then it brought me so much joy. That feeling has never left.

After everything wrapped up, I headed to the airport and am now in Indy for the 49ers game tomorrow. Then it is back to Texas on Tuesday to get ready for our meal events on Christmas Eve.

Busy, full, grateful, and exactly where I am meant to be.
