Today I flew back home to Texas, where some of my family and friends were already gathered and preparing for our Christmas Eve meal for those who need a warm plate and a little extra love. Seeing people come together like that, without being asked, just because they care, fills my heart in a way nothing else can.
I already know tonight will probably be sleepless, but it is the kind of tired that feels purposeful. The kind that comes from serving, giving, and showing up for others. There is something really special about working side by side with people who believe in the same things and are willing to give their time to make sure others are taken care of.
Tomorrow we will be serving meals in both Texas and California, with my VP leading the California location. We will be handing out five hundred meals in each location. On top of that, we will also be giving out toys to any kids who come by. Watching a child light up over something so simple is one of the most beautiful reminders of what this season is really about.
For me, this has never been about numbers or recognition. It is about heart. It is about dignity, kindness, and making sure people feel seen, valued, and not alone. These moments ground me and remind me how important it is to give back in ways that truly matter.
Tired, grateful, and full of love as we head into tomorrow.
Signed, Paulina.

You are a blessing and a miracle my friend and I dare anyone whom you’ll be giving out meals to would argue any different. You are a warm, kind and gentle soul and I hope for a truly magical…
