Day 55 blog Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas and the celebration of Jesus’ birthday. It was a very low key, meaningful day spent exactly where I wanted to be, surrounded by family and people I love. I spent the day with my parents, grandparents, one of my good friends, and her sons, who are also my godsons.
We opened gifts, played games, danced to music, and shared stories that had us laughing and reminiscing. There was so much gratitude in the room. Moments like these remind me that the simplest days are often the most special.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has been by my side this year through the good, the bad, and the ugly. Your support, love, encouragement, and presence have meant more to me than words can explain. This year has been full, challenging, and beautiful in its own way, and I am incredibly thankful for the people who walked it with me.
I hope today was filled with peace, love, and moments that warmed your heart. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I’m glad you had such a wonderful day with you family Paulina, family is everything. I too got to enjoy my Christmas with my parents for another year and that is a blessing in itself that I got my parents for another year. It truly is a magical time when we can look back and take stock in what has happened and how it has affected us for better or worse. I have so much to be thankful for including things that made me sad or upset; I take them all in and am grateful for the lessons that they teach and take it into the New Year and try and do better than the year before.
