Today I’m not even sure what day it is anymore, and honestly, that feels kind of perfect. It’s Monday where I am, but still Sunday back home. Time zones are funny like that.
I’ve been up since 2 a.m. watching the 49ers game, which definitely took a few years off my life. Lots of stress, lots of emotions, but it was absolutely worth it because they pulled off the win. I’ll be tired today, but I’ll take that trade any day.
Today is all about taking it easy. After long flights and meeting up with friends and my cousin, I’m intentionally slowing things down. I’ll be spending some time with family and truly letting myself relax and enjoy being on this side of the world. No rushing, no packed schedule, just being present.
This trip is about rest, connection, and giving myself permission to chill. I’m sure tomorrow’s blog will be more exciting, but today is exactly what I need.

Sounds like you’re starting to get into the spirit of your vacation my friend. I’m glad your team won their game and sorry it took a few years off your life but that’s the way it is when you you’re a diehard fan; It’s an emotional experience for sure!
