Day 1 of 2026 was amazing. I started the morning strong with a 6am workout so I could get it in before heading to the mountains for a few days of true fun and relaxation. The rest of the day was exactly what I needed. Skiing, good food, and slowing down in the best way.
I also spent a couple of hours on FaceTime with one of my good guy friends. Even though we talk every day, it was so nice to really catch up without distractions. Those conversations fill my cup more than people realize.
This afternoon I joined a 31 day Bible study class and I’m already really excited about it. I have a feeling it’s going to be an awesome experience. It’s free to join, so if anyone is interested, let me know and I’ll share the info.
As I settle into this new year, I’m really focused on being present, protecting my peace, and continuing to grow mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I’m leaving behind anything that no longer serves me and stepping fully into everything God has planned. I truly hope everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year and that we are all walking into 2026 with clarity, purpose, and excitement for what’s ahead.

It’s so nice to hear you falling into such a relaxing frame of mind by just taking some time to catch up with a friend for a couple of hours. Making time for your life is just as important as paying attention to your businesses. If we get lucky we meet really fine people and if we’re really lucky, get to keep though connections for a very long time and those people enrich our lives more than words can describe.
