Day 82 blog

In my businesses, there is one thing that will always come before money. Integrity. Respect. Core values. Every single time.

I don’t care how big the number is. I don’t care how good the deal looks on paper. If something goes against what I believe in, I will say no or walk away. I will never make a deal, invest, or put my name anywhere near anyone or anything that compromises my values.

Money can be replaced. Your name cannot.

That same standard applies to my network. I will not bring people into my strong network who don’t align with how I move. I worked hard to build these connections. Trust was earned over time. Respect was established through consistency. I am not going to risk or damage that by introducing the wrong people or allowing anyone to misuse the access I’ve built.

Real success isn’t just about what you build. It’s about what you protect. My network is built on integrity, mutual respect, and long term vision. I won’t allow it to be diluted, exploited, or compromised for the sake of a deal.

I am fully willing to say no or walk away from millions if it means protecting my integrity, my name, or the people connected to me. That is not a loss. That is a win. Because no amount of money is worth sacrificing who you are, what you stand for, or the trust you’ve earned.

The people who work for me matter. Their livelihoods matter. Their respect matters. I will never put profit above the people who help build what I lead. They will never be placed beneath a deal, an investor, or an opportunity. If something threatens our culture, our ethics, or our foundation, it does not belong in our world.

When you lead with integrity, the right opportunities find you. And when you say no or walk away from what isn’t aligned, you make room for what is. I don’t chase money. I protect standards. I build long term value. I move with intention.

This isn’t about being difficult. It’s about being disciplined. It’s about understanding that lasting success is built on character, trust, and consistency, not shortcuts.

I will always say no or walk away when something costs me my values, my name, or my network.

That is how I do business.

And that will never change.

Signed, Paulina.

You hit the nail right on the head Paulina; who you are and what you stand for affects how you will forever be perceived.   This is a mindset that is not only vital to one’s own integrity but even more so when you’re running a business.

Too many companies today bend and shift with the trends or movements in our society out of fear of losing money.  The greater fear that should be on the minds of those that would sacrifice their companies’ image just to appease a momentary shift in society is how they will be remembered after that moment passes.  People can have a long memory and they speak with their wallets if they come to find…
