Day 97 blog

Today started a little earlier than I planned thanks to a rough night of sleep. I was up around 4am, so instead of fighting it, I got some work done and eased into the morning. Once my stepdad was up, we headed to the gym together and then grabbed breakfast after. I always love starting the day like that. It’s simple time, but it feels good and intentional.
In the afternoon we checked out the NFL Originals event. Honestly, it wasn’t all that exciting to me, but it was still nice to walk around, see what they had going on, and just be out and about. We wandered over to the pier for a bit, enjoyed the views, grabbed a quick lunch, and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for the night.
And let me just say… I am in love with my dress. I wore Oscar de la Renta and felt so good in it. I got so many compliments all night. My stepdad looked sharp in his Oscar de la Renta too, so we definitely showed up looking our best.
The NFL Honors awards were amazing. I got to shake hands with so many great athletes and coaches, people I’ve watched and respected for years. It’s always surreal being in those rooms. Of course, I avoided a few people I didn’t care to chat with, but that’s just part of life. You protect your energy and keep it moving.
All in all, it’s been such a good day. Moments like this remind me how grateful I am, not just for the events and opportunities, but for the time I get to spend with my stepdad. Getting this one-on-one time together during Super Bowl week makes it even more special.
Definitely a day I’ll remember.
Signed, Paulina.

Glad you were able to ease into the morning with a good workout and had a nice breakfast with your stepdad.
You may not have really enjoyed the NFL Origanals event that much but certainly looked spectacular, very classy and elegant if you don’t mind me saying; you deserved every compliment you got. Oscar de la Renta is and incredible brand and it should be expected that you and your stepdad would look spectacular.
Glad the NFL Honors was a much more rewarding and enjoyable event, even though you had to avoid a few people, I’m glad you and your stepdad had an overall great time for yourselves. Just one more thing to be grateful for the time…
