Day 19 Blog

Today started bright and early at 4 in the morning. I got myself up, hit the gym, and let that workout carry the rest of my day. After the gym I focused on making sure all of my businesses were fully set for the next two weeks. I will be in Egypt and then it will be Thanksgiving, and the last thing I want is any chaos popping up while I am away. Owning businesses means the work never really stops, but thankfully I can handle almost everything from my phone or laptop. Even so, I do not want to spend my trip putting out emergencies, especially with the time zone difference.

Once that was taken care of I headed to the Houston airport because my bestie, my mom, and my grandma were flying in. My mom and grandma will be staying at my house while my bestie and I travel to Egypt. I am actually typing this while on the plane now. After picking them up I took them home and made sure they were settled. Then it was already time to head right back to the airport for our flight.

We always arrive early for international travel because my dual citizenship usually means extra steps at check in. Better early than stressed. Now we are finally on our long flight and I am debating whether I should try to sleep or not. We land in Egypt late afternoon and I usually make myself stay awake until nighttime so I can adjust to the time zone. The problem is that I hate sleeping on planes, so we will see how that goes.

That pretty much sums up today. A very early start, a lot of preparation, and now the long journey ahead. Egypt here we come.

Signed, Paulina.

I think it's really incredible that your able travel as much as you do considering how many businesses you run but that is just evident of how well you run your companies. I'm sure you wouldn't be able to travel as you wish to if you weren't both on top of everything and hiring the right people that you can trust to keep things moving along so the burden isn't solely on you. That being said there are responsibilities as a business owner that never go away, but I hope you do get to spend most of your time enjoying your trip with you bestie and just living in the moment a bit and then come home to a wonderf…
