I started the morning by drawing the winner for Day 4 of my Ten Days of Giving. It always feels good to give back, especially around the holidays. God has blessed me throughout my life, and I have always felt called to share what I can. Even at my venture capital company and at my gym, my employees and I do a monthly community service project. It is one of my favorite parts of what we do.

Now for yesterday and last night, since it is still early and I am not sure which “day” to talk about. It is six in the morning, and we did not get back to our rooms until around two. Most of yesterday was spent at the beach. We laid in the sun, relaxed in the water, and just enjoyed being here. We grabbed food at different places around the resort and had dinner closer to the festival grounds.

At one point we met one of the managers for a DJ who was performing. We started talking about all kinds of things and, of course, business ended up in the conversation because that is just who I am. We exchanged business cards, and she got us a table right up on the main stage. I am super excited about this because I am now doing business in the music industry and meeting her is going to be a good connection. Next thing you know I might just manager artists myself haha. It made the entire night even better. Day 1 of the festival was definitely a success. I posted videos on my main Instagram for anyone who wants to see the highlights.

We did not get much sleep, but that is nothing new for me. Today is going to be another fun one. I will hit the gym soon, grab breakfast, and plan out the rest of the day. Day 2 of the festival is later tonight, and I already know it is going to be another great experience.

Egypt has been full of energy and good moments so far, and I am excited for everything that today brings.

Signed, Paulina.

It has nothing to do with any kind of societal pressure but just out of a desire to spread a little good will, and beyond that it just feels good to help others without any kind of ulterior motive behind it. There has been I think such a stigma that has been attached to certain kinds of generosity and that is really a sad thing. If you do something nice for someone and not expecting anything in return, peoples radar just starts to go up. I pray for a day when just b…
