Today was a good and relaxing day by the pool. In a few hours we will be heading to the airport to start our trip back home. Was up early to watch my 49ers win.. barely, but a W is a W. Shout out the NFL for all the signed jerseys and helmets they sent to my new office for me and my employees! Definitely going to put my signed 49er jersey and helmet in my sports room. The signed Travis helmet will sit in our office so people don’t fight over it. The rest of the stuff my employees will get. Thankful for awesome connections.

Something funny happened a bit ago on a social media app. I’m not going to name which one. Someone messaged me inviting me to join something to support a person who absolutely despises me. That part doesn’t bother me, but the situation itself was entertaining.

The person who reached out clearly isn’t in the loop. After I declined and asked them to please stop inviting me, they said “But everyone misses you.” I just sat there thinking, who is everyone? Because if anyone truly missed me, they know exactly how to contact me. Many already have direct access to me.

Then they tried to tell me that the main person misses me too. That was when I knew without a doubt that they had no idea what has recently happened between that person and me. The confidence to speak on behalf of someone when you don’t know the situation is honestly hilarious.

Either way it was a hilarious interaction and I just said “okkayyyy” and left it at what it was because I won’t put business out there like that.

The moral of the story is simple. If someone is going to speak for you or represent you, make sure they actually know your situation. Otherwise they end up making both you and themselves look ridiculous. No one should speak for you unless you trust them and know they’re informed. It can save you from bad business in the future and prevent people from creating stories that were never true.

Being part of the backside of things makes all of this even more entertaining. You see everything people think is hidden. You see who is doing what in secret. You see who is messaging who and sending the same messages to different people. You see crazies use profiles to stalk people. You even see people’s actual locations compared to where they publicly claim to be which makes certain behaviors even more entertaining. The behind the scenes perspective always reveals the real story. That has been my entertainment for my sleepless nights. Lucky for those involved I will mind my own business. Anywho, going to get packed and ready for a 21hr flight home.

That's really cool that you get official NFL equipment/memorabilia sent to your office, and good call on the helmet, that definitely will put the squash on your employees fighting for it; its good to be the boss.😂

Your story really is hilarious, I've personally never been in that kind of situation but that really is embarrassing when your not in the loop about something and they start speaking on the behalf of someone else.

When I was a just a kid I made the decision not to drink alcohol, not because of anything I had been exposed to personally, it was just a personal decision. One of the things I like to joke though about (which kind of connects wit…
